Hi, I'm Stephanie. I am a freelance artist and workshop facilitator from the South West of England.

 

Since as long as I could remember, I have loved drawing and painting. I would doodle over anything I could find! I was inspired by stories, illustrations and intriguing characters when I was a child. My imagination would wander and I created my own interpretation of the world around me.

I continued my passion at university where I completed a degree in Drawing and Applied Arts in Bristol. I then lived in Devon for a number of years developing my practise in between the busyness of life. I found opportunities there to showcase my work in a variety of art cafes/galleries and to sell at art fairs. The vibrant, creative city of Bristol was calling me back though and I moved back last year. Since moving, I have developed my practise further and I have been facilitating creative painting workshops. I believe that creativity is inside each and every one of us and and it is very rewarding to encourage people to express this side of themselves. I feel it is important for us all to take a pause on the busy hustle of everyday life to create and explore our own ideas and stories

 

Exploring human connection to the natural world and animals, as well as exploring our internal/spiritual world is my main sources of inspiration for my practice. However, I happily welcome other subject matter to create and have completed a wide range of varying commissions for customers. These can be seen in my portfolio.
